$NEAR has risen about 7% in the past two days, and trading volume has also significantly increased, but what I think is more worth paying attention to than the price rise is its plan to continue reducing token issuance.
Here's the situation: the NEAR community just passed a governance proposal to gradually lower the annual issuance cap from 2.5% to 1.6% over the next 24 months.
According to the proposal's estimates, about 11.8 million fewer NEAR tokens will be issued over the next two years.
